In the 18th century, a English-based German firm recruited Persian weavers to develop a rug style suitable for Western tastes. The weavers designed chobi, which means “wood” in Farsi, rugs that featured muted colors and neo-traditional patterns. Fusing the old with the new, such qualities make this collection ideal for most contemporary home interiors.
